This Privacy Policy describes how yourIQ (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information you provide while using our cognitive assessment and training services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the email address you provide to receive your assessment results, the answers and timing data generated during your IQ test, billing details processed through our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy / Stripe), and basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and approximate country location for fraud prevention and localization.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information is used to compute your IQ score and cognitive profile, deliver your dashboard and certificate, process subscription billing, send transactional emails (magic-link sign-in, receipts, cancellation confirmations), and improve the accuracy of our scoring engine in aggregate.
3. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with the processors required to deliver the service: our database provider (Supabase), our payment processor (Lemon Squeezy / Stripe), and our hosting provider (Vercel). Each is bound by their own data-processing agreement.
4. Your Rights
You may request a copy of your data, request deletion of your account, or correct inaccurate information at any time by emailing support@yourIQ.org. Residents of the EU, UK, and California have additional rights under GDPR / UK-GDPR / CCPA which we honor.
5. Retention
Active subscriber data is retained for as long as the account is open. After cancellation, identifiable data is deleted within 90 days unless retention is required for tax, accounting, or legal compliance.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over TLS, stored in encrypted Postgres (Supabase) with row-level security, and access is restricted to a small operations team. We have never knowingly experienced a breach of subscriber data.
