1.GENERAL REFUND PRINCIPLES

yourIQ provides digital cognitive assessments and interactive training services. Due to the immediate delivery of digital assets (IQ Analysis Reports and Training Portal access), refunds are governed by the strict criteria outlined below. By initiating a trial or subscription, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

2.TRIAL PERIOD VERIFICATION FEE ($1.00)

2.1 Non-Refundable Status: The initial $1.00 verification fee is non-refundable. This fee covers the immediate computational costs of processing your psychometric data and generating your 15-page Cognitive Analysis Report.

2.2 Purpose: This fee serves as a payment method verification to ensure the security and integrity of our recurring training portal.

3.RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION REFUNDS ($29.99)

3.1 Standard Policy: Except as expressly stated in this Policy or required by applicable law, all recurring subscription charges ($29.99) are non-refundable.

3.2 The 48-Hour Grace Period: We recognize that unintentional subscription renewals may occur. We offer a discretionary 48-hour refund window for recurring charges.

To be eligible, a refund request must be submitted via email to support@yourIQ.org within forty-eight (48) hours of the transaction timestamp.

Prohibitive Use Clause: Eligibility for this grace period is void if the User has accessed the Pro Training Portal or utilized any “Premium” logic games following the processing of the recurring charge.

3.3 Partial Periods: No pro-rated refunds are provided for partial subscription months. Upon cancellation, access to the Service will continue through the remainder of the current paid billing cycle.

4.ELIGIBILITY FOR EXCEPTIONAL REFUNDS

Refunds outside of the 48-hour grace period may be considered exclusively in the following circumstances:

  • Service Unavailability: Documented technical failure of the yourIQ platform exceeding twenty-four (24) consecutive hours, excluding scheduled maintenance or Force Majeure events (e.g., localized ISP outages).
  • Billing Errors: Documented instances of duplicate billing or incorrect charge amounts.
  • Mandatory Legal Requirements: As required by the consumer protection laws of your specific jurisdiction.

5.NON-REFUNDABLE CIRCUMSTANCES

Refunds will explicitly not be issued for:

  • Subjective Dissatisfaction: Results that do not meet the User's personal expectations regarding their entertainment IQ score.
  • Non-Usage: Failure to utilize the 12-game training portal during the active subscription period.
  • Cancellation Failure: Failure to cancel the 7-day trial at least 24 hours prior to expiration.
  • Technical Incompatibility: Issues arising from the User's failure to meet the “Technical Requirements” (Section 11 of the Terms of Service).

6.REFUND REQUEST PROCESS

6.1 Submission: To request a refund, you must contact our support department at support@yourIQ.org.

6.2 Required Information: Your request must include:

  • The email address associated with the account.
  • The transaction date and amount.
  • The specific reason for the refund request.

6.3 Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 3–5 business days. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your financial institution's policies.

7.CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES

yourIQ is committed to resolving all billing inquiries amicably. We encourage Users to utilize our 48-hour grace period rather than initiating a formal bank dispute (chargeback).

  • Account Termination: Per our security protocol, any account associated with a formal chargeback or payment dispute will be immediately and permanently terminated.
  • Blacklisting: The associated email and payment method may be blacklisted from future use across our network of services.

8.CURRENCY AND BANK FEES

All transactions are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD). yourIQ is not responsible for, nor will we refund, any international transaction fees, currency conversion fees, or overdraft fees imposed by your bank or credit card issuer.

9.GOVERNING LAW

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes regarding refunds shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Travis County, Texas (or the operator's county of residence).
